Very entertaining text session today as we went over the assassination of Julius Caesar and the rise to power of Octavian over Mark Antony. We continue to review verb forms, noting the different ways that the imperfect tense can be translated in to English. Of note is the phrase magno in proelio - in a great battle - that appears to be idiomatic, but we have not yet found evidence of this in texts - still looking.

Next week we will meet on Tuesday at 10am for a grammar session. For the next text translation we will do texts 10 and 11.
